Faculty Development Programme on “IoT and Automation” was conducted by Electronics & Communication Engineering department in collaboration with IATC – SIEMENS, Panchkula and Research & Development Cell of Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran from 1st February, 2021 to 3rd February, 2021.
Established in 2005 IATC has sustained a dignified position in Automation Industry PAN INDIA on the basis of its tremendous efforts in providing the best automation solutions, trainings, collaborations and moral corporate responsibility.
Mr. Ajay Kumar, CEO, Enovate Skill, NITTTR Startup, Chandigarh gave the Introduction about IoT (Internet of things). He introduced the audience to IoT, Industry 4.0, its need, key principles of Industry 4.0, key components of IoT, variety of sensors and applications of IoT. Participants had the opportunity to learn two new softwares, namely, Tinker CAD and Scratch. Live demo about the usage of these softwares were given. At the end of the session, participants were presented with tutorials where everyone made a program by themselves on these softwares and discussed the questions. There were total 60 participants from different colleges and institutes.
