Hands on session on Introduction to Python libraries for data acquisition and handling, Deep Learning Model, Machine Learning algorithms with R/Weka provided participants practical aspects of Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Mala Kalra presented her talk on “Symmetric Cryptography using AES” and highlighted the significance of cryptography and advanced algorithms in multimedia domain. Post lunch session was conducted by Mr. Aanchal Singh, Solitaire Infosys, Mohali and participants attended hands-on training on Python libraries and machine learning techniques and applications using python. implementing Genetic Algorithm as metaheuristic.
Day 2 of FDP started with Hands-on- session on Multi-objective Optimization with practical example” by Dr. Ritu Garg from NIT, Kurukshetra University. She explained the thorough concept of mapping decision space to objective space, Lexicigraphic ordering and Pareto-based Techniques. Faculty also asked research based queries which were well answered by the expert.Mr. Sunil from ThinkNext Technologies presented his talk on “Machine Learning Implementation with Python for data acquisition and handling”. The expert discussed relations among Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and deep Learning. He provided hands-on training on Python libraries-Numpy and Pandasand data set acquisition of boston data which was trained and tested using linear regression technique.
Day 3 of FDP started with expert talk on “Detection of forgery in Multimedia Information in Cyberspace” given by Dr. Navdeep Kanwal, Punjabi University, Patiala. The expert discussed about Digital Forensics, Web tools like Tineye, forensically, and many more along with real life examples of detecting forgery in multimedia information. Post Lunch Session was delivered by Dr. Neel Maini, CAIR, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyala, Haridwar on “Deep learning model Implementation using Python”. He explained about machine learning models, their implementation along with practical applications and Tripod of Sentiment analysis.
Day 4 of FDP “Machine learning algorithms available using R/Weka ” given by Dr. Dhavleesh Rattan, Punjabi University, Patiala. An outline to understand and conduct a systematic review is provided, and the difference between meta-analyses and systematic reviews was described. He also presented the review and research articles related to Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. Post Lunch session was on “Intrusion detection system for IoT Botnet using CNN model” which was delivered by Dr. Umang Garg, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun. He explained that in the Information and Communication Technology age, connected objects generate massive amounts of data traffic, which enables data analysis to uncover previously hidden trends and detect unusual network-load. He also defined five core design principles to consider when designing a deep learning-empowered intrusion detection system.
Day 5 of FDP started with session on IoT and Applications and Machine learning using IoT given by Mr. Ajay Godara, Founder and CEO, Start up Enovate Skills, NITTTR Chandigarh. He presented the Artificial Intelligence significance in Industry 4.0 and how IoT can play drastic role in modernizing the concept of Industry 4.0. Mr. Ajay Godara was also the Guest Speaker for the valediction ceremony which was held in post lunch session. The valediction ceremony was attended by Campus Director Sir, Director Principal Sir, Heads of all Department and all the participants. The participants shared their experiences and provided feedback of the FDP. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Director Principal Sir and congratulated all the participants and coordinators for successful completion of the FDP.
