The Applied Sciences Department hosted a Motivational Movie Showcase for the newly admitted B.Tech first-year students from all branches as part of the Students Induction Program-2023. They were shown an inspirational film "I am Kalam." The central character of this cinematic production is a juvenile male named Chhotu, who is gainfully employed at a Dhaba establishment and is from a socioeconomically disadvantaged background. The film primarily centred on the experiences of two male individuals hailing from contrasting socioeconomic circumstances. Notably, the affluent protagonist, Ranvijay, played a pivotal role in aiding the underprivileged young lad to secure admission into an educational institution. The film culminated with a strong emphasis on the concept of achieving parity in educational opportunities. The duration of the movie was 90 minutes. The positive demeanour undeniably engendered a sense of enthusiasm among students, who derived immense pleasure from the experience.
