The Excelsior Club
The Excelsior Club was created on 22nd August 2012 by the Department of Applied Sciences, Chandigarh Engineering College-CGC, Landran, Mohali to conduct various activities for the overall development of the students. The main objective of forming this club was to improve the communication skills of the students through interactive and participative approach. It also aims to provide impetus to the scientific and technical temper of students by making them aware of recent developments in the field of Science and Technology. To achieve these objectives, the club invites eminent personalities in the field of Science and technology as guest speakers to update the knowledge and skills of students. The affairs of the club are managed by the office bearers and coordinators from the faculty members and students.
Aims & Objectives of the Club

Chandigarh Engineering College-CGC, Landran, Mohali started American Chemical Society student chapter in its campus on 22nd January 2016. Six students of B.Tech are members of this prestigious society along with one faculty member (Dr. Meena Devi). ACS student chapter opens job opportunities for graduates along with networking with researchers in other countries.
