He has done M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering abreast a SUN Certified Professional (SJCP 1.4). With his astounding dedication & untiring efforts he has been helping the students to soar high in the sky to fulfill their dreams.

Training and Placement Officer

Lt.Col. D.S. Mann (Retd.), Ex-Army officer from corps of engineers of Indian army has vast experience in carrying out planning and execution of technical projects and carrying out maintenance services for the army both in combat zone and peace zone. He was Chief-Instructor in army headquarters training workshop at Pune. He had also tenure in ministry of defence for quality control for procurement and testing of engineering equipment. He was awarded ‘Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card’ for exemplary services, devotion and dedication to duty. He has written number of technical papers for publications in Military Journals.

Placement Coordinator

With the exponential growth and achievements made during the past years, Chandigarh Engineering College has grabbed the top position among the other colleges of the region. This has been possible due to the dedicated efforts of both students and faculty. One of our major strengths is the placement programme run by the HRD Department. It is only with the untiring efforts of this department that we have been able to achieve our target of 100 per cent placements. Today Excellence is the buzzword at CEC. I assure you that we will continue to put our best efforts to impart world- class education to our students, in the best of environment.

The Training & Placement Cell has two office assistants to deal with enormous data of students as applicable for any placement activity. The untiring & dedicated work carried out by them leads to maintenance of meticulous, relevant records of students and placements.

Students Training and Placement Cell

A Student Training and Placement Cell, STAP Cell, has been constituted with the student representative from various branches of CEC. It aims at making students as the part of planning, formatting and executing the day-to-day activities of Training and Placement. This makes them a part of the procedural set-up, which goes a long way in building their responsible character and helps hem to be good planners, confident individuals, promising leaders and better human beings.
