An expert talk on the topic “Applications of Multiple Integrals” was organized on 31st October, 2019 in the Department of Applied Sciences, CEC to abreast B. Tech 1st year students with important applications of Multiple Integrals in engineering and discussed various curves. The lecture was delivered by by Dr. Sucheta, Professor - Department of Applied Sciences and Associate Dean Academic Affairs, PEC, Chandigarh. The talk started at 2.00 PM and ended at 4:00 PM. A total of 150 students from B.Tech (ECE & ME) 1st Semester along with the faculty members from Department of Applied Science attended the expert talk. Dr. Sucheta wisely and precisely described various aspects related to Integrals and its applications, and the solutions by using various methods. The facts elaborated by hurled to the realization that mathematics is an integral part of every phase in engineering science and inspired the students to show their keen interest in mathematics.
