Applied Science Department organized an Alumni Interaction for 1st year students

Applied Science Department organized an Alumni Interaction for 1st year students with the alumni of CGC, Ms. Shivangi Kumar who passed out in the year 2015. Presently, she is working as a Business Analyst at Netparticipate Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Chandigarh and leads a team of 40 people. At the outset, she congratulated all the students for being a part of CGC. She shared her wonderful experience of her stay in the college where she was transformed from a shy girl to a confident and smart person. She encouraged the students to seize every opportunity which comes their way and never let their spirits die. Second session was conducted by Mr.Manik Minhas , an Alumnus of CEC interacted who with the students. He is an Entrepreneur. He explained the importance of academics and their marks. He gave several tips for cracking the interviews. He made the session highly interactive. He also handled the queries of students. Third session was conducted by Ishant Raju and Nishant Raju who passed out in 2016 conducted the session who have established themselves as successful entrepreneurs. They started their own company RAJU BROS. They have also collaborated with a Canadian Company. They had nostalgic memories about CGC which has helped them in bringing a drastic change in their personality. At the same time another Alumni session for ME students was organized where about 81 students participated . Sudeep Singh, a student of 2005 batch who is at present the branch head of Egis Engineering company addressed the students. He said that inspite of having a mechanical background, he is working in non- mechanical field. He touched the topics of machine learning, artificial intelligence and compound effect. He also advised the students to avail every opportunity offered by the college to be successful in life.
