CEC Landran accredited by NBA for five years. Ranked amongst top 25 private  engineering institutes of the country

Adding yet another feather to its cap, Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran has got accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. Having achieved this milestone in its maiden attempt, CEC has become the 1st private engineering college of the northern region to have got accredited for 5 years and has enlisted itself among the top 25  private colleges like Kalinga Institute of Technology, Bhubneshwar, Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Naidu. CEC has also placed itself amongst the top 50 accredited institutes of the country, which include 20 NIT’s  consisting of NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hyderabad, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Kurkshetra.

As per the source provided by Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi after Thapar University and National Institute of Technology (NIT, Jalandhar) Chandigarh Engineering College Landran has become the only private engineering college of the state to have got 5 years of accreditation where as Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh has been granted 3 years of accreditation. Other than CEC Landran only 4 private engineering colleges all over the country have been granted 5 years accreditation in their maiden attempt during year 2009. The 4 colleges are Jaypee University, Solan, Xavier Institute of Management, Mumbai, Coimboture Institute of Technology, Tamil Naidu and RMK Engineering College, Tamil Naidu.
