University of Wolverhampton, UK

University of Wolverhampton, UK and Chandigarh Engineering College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This MOU was signed by Professor G. Hurd, Acting Vice Chancellor for University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and Dr. G.D. Bansal, Principal, Chandigarh Engineering College.

According to which graduates from CGC will be sponsored for Post Graduation studies in the University of Wolverhampton, with 10% discount in the tuition fee.

Part time jobs are also available for CEC students. Most of the PG students finance their own studies from job earnings. CEC Students can register with the online jobs database and view the series of vacancies ranging from temporary, vacation and permanent work to full and part-time positions.

In order to provide world-class education to its students Chandigarh Engineering College Landran has signed an MOU with University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.

The UTS representatives Professor Archie Johnston, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, UTS, Associate Professor Deepak Sharma, Director Energy Planning and Policy Programme, UTS and Er Satyawan Dhupper, Associate of Faculty of Engineering, UTS (India) have come up with this proposal after getting satisfied with the infrastructure, laboratory facilities and the faculty of CEC.

Under the said understanding there will be

  • Exchange visits by the students and staff from both institutes for the purpose of teaching, study and research.

  • The library materials and research publications will also be shared.

  • Joint research ventures on internationally funded projects.
