Dr. Rupinder Gupta Ph.D. (Engineering) from IIT (Delhi) in 1996, M.S. (Mechanical Engineering) from Witchita State University, Kansas, U.S.A in 1971 did B.Sc Engineering in 1966 from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has more than 38 years experience in different capacities comprising of design, development, management and teaching. He started his career as a teaching faculty at PEC, Chandigarh and continued there for 3 years. Thereupon, he joined CSIR (New Delhi - India) system and was with its different research laboratories for more than 30 years and retired as Scientist 'G' in the year 2002. Since then he is with PTU's engineering colleges at various levels. He has published more than 20 research papers in international and national journals of repute and conferences. He was associated with these R&D projects while he was with the CSIR system and provided consultancy and supported many projects. He is member of various societies like CSI, IST&D, ALL INDIA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION.

Quality control of the instruction and administrative processes and planning for incorporating the latest in methods of instruction. Use of state of art technology like computer based audio-visual displays, multimedia systems, simulation techniques etc. in our teaching as well as in day to day activities in the extra-curricular, sports field etc. Engaging in Research and development activities to enhance the theoretical and practical skills of our students and widen their horizon, beyond the laid down syllabi/curricula.

He has teaching experience of 6 years in this college. Presenly, he  handles additional duties of Dean Academics and is Incharge of Boy's Hostel.

Mr. Rajwinder Singh holds M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He received the gold medal for securing first position from the Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D degree at I.I.T Roorkee, Roorkee, India, on the subject of mobile agent technology especially in the area of security and fault tolerance. Besides this, his research interests are in computer and network security. Prior to this, he was employed at National Institute Technical Teacher Training and Research, Chandigarh and Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh and played a critical role for syllabus formation/upgradation for undergraduates and postgraduate level for Computer Science and Engineering Branch. He has published Twenty Five research papers at International/ National Conferences. He is a life member of Indian Society of Technical Education, India, Computer Society of India (CSI).

Mrs. Navdeep Kaur, Asstt. Professor received her B.E. with distinction in 1997  and M.Tech with distinction in 1998 in Computer Science and Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshtera. She is currently doing research on the subject of Distributed Database Security for her Ph.D degree from I.I.T Roorkee, Roorkee, India. Besides this, her main research interests cover many areas in the fields of information security and database systems. Her research combines both theoretical and practical aspects, addressing as well applications on a number of domains.  Current research includes:

  • Access control systems ;
  • Advanced RBAC models and foundations of access control models;
  • MLS Distributed databases;
  • Data mining and privacy;

Prior to this, she was employed as an Asstt. Professor at Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh,  and a full time research scholar at IIT Roorkee, Roorkee.

Er. Bikram Pal Kaur is B.Tech and M.Tech in field of Computer science & Engineering and IT respectively. She received her degree from department of Computer Science and Engg. from Punjabi University Patiala. She is currently doing research on the subject of Management Information System for pursuing her PhD. Besides this she has a more than 12.5 years experience. Prior to this institute, for 9.5 years, she was associated with Shaheed Udham Singh college of Engg & Tech, Tangori as a Head of Department (CSE/IT). She had worked with Bank of Punjab Ltd. as a executive (Database Administrator) for 2.5 years in MIS division. She was also involved in preparing syllabus for B.Tech (Computer science and engg.)
of PTU, Jalandhar. She was also a member of board of studies for PTU Jalandhar. Her five research papers have been published at International/ National conference. She is a life member of ISTE.
