Computer Applications Department-Facilities

The department offers the front-end technologies in the field of Computer application and Information Technology through an elaborate set of laboratories consisting of the following:

·         Information Technology Laboratory (DOS, Microsoft Windows)
The students learn the basic concepts of Computer Engineering like Installation of Operating systems (MS-DOS, MS-Windows, XP) and Commands of MS-DOS, MS-Windows Operating systems, MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, MS-POWER POINT, MS-ACCESS.

·         Computer Graphics & Numerical Laboratory (DSPM, DAA)
This Programming lab includes lab sessions of Computer Graphics using C++, Data Structure using C++.
 

·         Advance level Programming Laboratory (C++, Java, ASP,. Net).
A Programming Lab where the students learns C++, Cobol, Core Java, Socket Programming, N/W Programming in Java, ASP. Net, VB.Net.
 

·         Web Technology Laboratory (XML,EComm,Windows programming)
In this Lab the students learn the Web Designing using HTML, DHTML, ASP, XML, SCRIPTING LANGUAGES and FRONT PAGE.
 

·         Oracle Laboratory ( Oracle 10G ) DBMS,RDBMS,DDBMS,ODBMS
This Lab is equipped with client server architecture using latest version of Oracle 10G. Students develop databases using SQL, PL/SQL and Advance SQL.
 

·         Internet Laboratory
Student get access to the Cyber world of Information through Internet to keep pace with the latest Developments in Computer Science & Information Technology. It has a 4 MBPS speed dedicated internet connectivity and is accessible for 24 hours

·         Data Communication Laboratory (Computer Networking,ATM,NOS)
Student learns about the Network Operating Systems like UNIX, LINUX, Window-NT and installation of various networking Equipments such as switch, Hub, LAN Card, UTP cable, STP cable
