Computer Applications Department

The department was set up in 2001. Over the years, the department has built-up well-equipped laboratory and excellent library. It believes in academic excellence through value based education, which is conductive to boost the inherent capabilities and confidence of the students to take up the challenges of the rapidly changing world. The department has organized various workshops in collaboration with the industry to keep abreast with the latest updates and conducted lecture series by eminent personalities from industry and academia. To faster creativity amongst the students it brought forth the departmental newsletter “Milestone” and organized a cultural event “TECHNOHUNT”, to showcase the hidden talents organized by department’s club CYBEX. The department to its credit has also set up a unique scholarship facility, to motivate the students to excel in academics. The staff and the students of the department are involved in various research activities enabling publications at various journals and International Conferences

The faculty of the department is actively involved in academic works like research, authoring textbooks.
