Electronics and Communication Department

Perspective Planning is an important aspect of any successful organization. Farsightedness in our vision and working towards development of our short term and long term goals is an essential requirement for achieving this aim. Some of the key area towards which our efforts are directed as:
Infrastructure development for future needs. Faculty development to cater for emerging trends in technology and taking up challenges of tomorrow. To put in place systems and processes for smooth functioning of the day to day activities and bringing in higher productivity. Quality control of the instruction and administrative processes and planning for incorporating the latest in methods of instruction. Use of state of art technology like computer based audio-visual displays, multimedia systems, simulation techniques etc. in our teaching as well as in day to day activities in the extra-curricular, sports field etc. Engaging in Research and development activities to enhance the theoretical and practical skills of our students and widen their horizon, beyond the laid down syllabi/curricula.


Applied Science Department


Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma

Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma did his Ph.D in Chemistry in 2002 from the Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh, after getting his M.Sc.(Hons.), degree from the same Department. He has 8 year teaching experience to undergraduate engineers.
Dr Sharma was awarded Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) Fellowship to attend 36th International Seminar for Research and Teaching in Chemical Engineering and Physical Chemistry from May 2000 to October 2001 at Karlsruhe University, Germany. During his stay in Germany, he worked on various radio analytical techniques at Karlsruhe Research Centre.
He also got a chance to work in DECHEMA laboratory in Frankfurt on various techniques of measurements. During his stay he worked on Aerosol formation in wet Scrubbers with Hydrogen Chloride and Ammonia.


Computer Science Department


Dr. Rajwinder Singh

Dr. Rajwinder Singh holds M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He received the gold medal for securing first position from the Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D degree at I.I.T Roorkee, Roorkee, India, on the subject of mobile agent technology especially in the area of security and fault tolerance. Besides this, his research interests are in computer and network security. Prior to this, he was employed at National Institute Technical Teacher Training and Research, Chandigarh and Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh and played a critical role for syllabus formation/upgradation for undergraduates and postgraduate level for Computer Science and Engineering Branch. He has published Twenty Five research papers at International/ National Conferences. He is a life member of Indian Society of Technical Education, India, Computer Society of India (CSI).


Information Technology Department

Mr.Shashi Bhushan

Shashi Bhushan received his B. Tech. Computer Technology in 1998. He received his M. Tech. Computer Science and Engineering in 2005 and presently pursuing PhD in the field of Peer-to-Peer Networks from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, INDIA. He had 13 years of experience in teaching and administration. He had organized national level conferences and other activities. He is a former member of Board of Studies (BOS) Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He had number of research papers in National/International Conferences and Journals. His fields of interest are Peer-to-Peer Networks, Sensor Networks and Mobile Computing.


Mechanical Engineering Department

Radhey Sham

Dr. Radhey Sham is B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Ferozepur, M.E. in CAD/CAM & Robotics from Thapar University, Patiala and Ph.D from Panjab University Chandigarh. His research work is in the field of Stirling Miniature Cryocoolers. He has expertise in the field of Thermal Engineering and CAD/CAM. He has filed 03 Patents. Dr Radhey Sham is Life member of ISTE and SAE. Under his guidance students have made incredible research projects like AIR CAR, WATER CAR, SOLAR, CAR, HYBRID BIKE, TURBO JET ENGINE, ATV, QUADRA CHOPPER etc and won various competitions at state and national level. He has published 15 research papers in various National and International journals and conferences. His teaching experience is 12 Years. Presently, he is also handling additional duty of Incharge, Discipline Committee.
