Guest Lecture on “Importance of Communicative English for Undergraduates” on 6th February, 2013
With an aim to improve proficiency in English language among the undergraduate students , the Applied Sciences Department of CEC invited Dr. Rana Nayar, Prof. & Head , Dept. of Communicative English & Cultural Studies , Punjab University to deliver his keynote address on the topic “ Importance Of Communicative English For Undergraduates” for the benefit of the students. Dr. Nayar emphasized the Importance of English in today’s scenario and highlighted new techniques for teaching &learning English.
A Seminar on “Role of Applied Sciences in Engineering” on 8th May, 2015
Excelsior Club, Department of Applied Sciences organized a seminar on “Role of Applied Sciences in Engineering” at CEC on 8th May 2015. Three renowned guest speakers from the field of Physics, Chemistry and Math were invited to share their views about the relevance of their subject in Engineering. About seventy teachers from various colleges of CGC attended the one day seminar.
